Lindsey Coleman and Jayne Seddon are a duo that unite two spectrums of the British sensibility, Lindsey having grown up on the northern coast while Jayne is from the Midlands. However, the quirks in their characters and spirited natures brought them on travels and working experiences around the world, and finally to Italy. Ultimately the pathway of life brought them both to Venice, where they made their homes. Unknown to eath other on their home shores, through their professional work in Venice, a friendship was forged. This relationship became cemented when they found that they shared a vision of starting their own unique company that would enable them to share the magic of Italy with their guests.

Lindsey and Jayne are committed to the idea of giving visitors to Italy a distinctive and memorable experience of this country, that shall be engrained in their minds for ever. From Lindsey's experience of working with tour operators she knew that she wanted to take her ideas for creating outstanding weddings, events and special times for people in Italy beyond the mainsteam goals, creating a very personal and specialised product. Jayne's in-depth cultural knowledge of Italy meant that she was determined to elevate the Veneto region from the cliched dimensions of the general tourist route, bringing a slice of the 'real' Venice to her own personally designed tours.

With a combined experience of over 18 years in various sectors of the travel industry, both of them have determination to put their relative experiences into force, with the enthusiasm and love they have of the Italian country and culture.

An integral part of this dynamic partnership is played by Renzo Fornasier, Lindsey's husband, an Italian acquisition picked up along the way ! Renzo brings a quintessentially Italian character to the company and his presence permeates many spheres of the work undertaken by VeniceEvents, from the hands on realm of conducting many of the tours of the Veneto region (where his impressive local knowledge of the area is an added bonus) to dealing with many of the administrative and business links that are ongoing in the constant quest of this energetic trio to provide a service of superior quality.

The demands of creating this service are constant and high, but an important factor in keeping VeniceEvents a strong and successful company is the enduring friendship of Lindsey, Jayne and Renzo, and this relaxed and close-knit ethos is strongly felt in the work and achievements of Venice Events.
