CORTINA & THE DRAMATIC DOLOMITES - Full day

Tour includes Cortina, Misurina Lake, light tasty lunch, Auronzo Lake, Longarone and Vajont valley. Passing through tunnels with astounding views of canyons and valleys that suddenly appear, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The Dolomites are this and much more. Arriving at Cortina, ‘the Pearl of the Dolomites’, we take time for a stroll and take in the picturesque views of the mountains. We then continue our trip towards the natural lake of Misurina (1756 mt) to admire of the scenery of the ‘Tre Cime di Lavaredo’, the ‘Sorapis’, the ‘Marmarole’ where we stop for a tasty, rustic lunch at Malga Misurina.

After lunch we journey on to admire the picturesque Auronzo lake and on the way back to Venice, time permitting, we make a last stop at Longarone to taste a delicious homemade ice-cream and see the view of the Vajont valley.
