The “Prosecco&Culture” tour will give you the opportunity to discover the Prosecco hills dotted with enchanting abbeys of the 14th century and the splendid thousand-year-old churches that adorn this area of incomparable beauty, where an endless vineyard scenery will surround you and will leave you open-mouthed.

A substantial part of the tour will be dedicated to the visit of the best wineries of San Stefano, heart of the production of the famous and excellent “Prosecco di Valdobbiadene DOC” and to

the tasting of excellent wines accompanied by delicious local products. The package includes several wine and food tasting: you will visit both small local wine producers and also large wineries, to give you the opportunity to compare them and to better understand the economic tissue of our region. From the limited and home-made production to the large one, but always sticking to the same concept: high-quality and passion for their work.

PROGRAMME

• Meeting with the escort in Venice and transfer to Quarto d’Altino by train.
• Departure towards Conegliano, visit of the ancient and picturesque Abbey of San Pietro di Feletto and the adjacent cloister.
• Visit of the traditional wineries of San Stefano and tasting of their renowned wines along with the typical products.
• Excursion in the Cartizze hill, where the famous Prosecco di Cartizze is produced, a breath-taking experience.
• Immersion in the relaxing atmosphere of the Cistercian hermitage of Dolle. To give you a complete idea of the range of wines produced in this fruitful land we will conclude this eno-gastronomic experience by tasting an excellent sweet wine along with local confectionary.
• On our way back to Venice visit of the ancient mill “della Croda” , built at the beginning of the 16th century in a suggestive location and return to Venice
