With our expert guide you will start your tour near the prestigious Hotel Bauer, from where you will be steered in style by your own personal gondolier through the picturesque 'Rio della Madonetta' and on to the incomparable Grand Canal.
Passing through centuries of history and stunning palazzi, each with their own story to tell, you will glide effortlessly along one of the most famous, beautiful and elegant 'high streets' in the world. All you need to do is sit back, relax with a glass of Bucks Fizz (Mimosa) in your hand, and take in the surroundings while our informative guide entertains you with stories and anecdotes of the city, explaining the history behind La Serenissima and her array of stunning palaces.
The tour will take you under the modest Accademia Bridge, which separates the districts of buzzing San Marco on one side from charming Dorsoduro on the other. Moving on, you will hear about the many characters that Venice has played host to throughout history. You will also discover the secrets of the Venetians, the 'traghetto' for example and the tales behind the gondola itself.
