THE STORY OF GLASS MAKING IN MURANO

This tour shall give you amazing insights into the history and fascinating art of Italian glass making on the island of Murano.

A visit to the Vetrario Glass Museum allows you to see a wide range of pieces on display, including Roman exhibits and fabulous 15th and 16th century pieces, all richly colourful and highly decorative.

Then we progress onwards to one of the many furnaces on the island to see a traditional glass blowing display, before you have the opportunity to take a stroll around the island to enjoy the shops and the scenery.
